Application Engineer focusing on M365 Copilot solutions, collaborating with M365 teams in a hybrid work environment. Addressing technical challenges and implementing governance measures in Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities
You will take on the administration and configuration of Microsoft 365 Copilot, including permissions management, security policies and the implementation of governance requirements in collaboration with the security and compliance teams.
You analyze Copilot usage, resolve issues at 2nd-level support, continuously optimize and automate recurring tasks—ideally using PowerShell—to increase efficiency.
You implement new requirements and technical solutions in the M365 environment with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot and support other M365 topics such as tenant setup, Microsoft Purview or Power BI.
You work closely with adjacent M365 teams to develop integrated, customer-focused solutions and to optimize the adoption and use of M365 products.
You keep security and compliance in focus by implementing and further developing measures such as DLP, Microsoft Purview and other governance requirements.
Requirements
You have a degree in (business) computer science and several years of relevant professional experience in Microsoft 365-related topics, or a comparable qualification.
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and are proficient in at least one scripting language, preferably PowerShell.
You have a basic understanding of Microsoft Purview, particularly its core compliance and governance functions, and bring experience with AI-powered services.
You demonstrate a quick grasp of new topics, work analytically and independently, and take responsibility for the continuous improvement and automation of your solutions.
You have business-fluent German (at least C1 level) and good English skills (B2 level).
You enjoy working in agile teams and use methods such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver projects efficiently and purposefully.
