About the role
- Director of Delivery HPC leading strategic projects in AI and Quantum environments across Europe. Managing senior technical teams and ensuring operational excellence in high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of critical HPC projects across HPC, AI and Quantum environments.
- Manage senior technical expert teams across multiple countries (N+2 management level).
- Ensure team performance, engagement and alignment on highly critical projects.
- Deliver very recent technologies in high-pressure operational contexts.
- Provide credible HPC technical leadership on complex and critical architectures.
- Act as the primary escalation point for technical and contractual issues.
- Secure delivery in high business and political constraint contexts.
- Streamline interactions with Factory and R&D organizations.
- Structure and drive escalation operating models.
- Ensure reliable execution on the most sensitive projects in the portfolio.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s level)
- 12–15+ years of experience in complex technical environments
- Proven senior management experience (N+2 level)
- Strong background in HPC
- Must have HPC experience (complex environments, critical architectures)
- Delivery leadership of large multi-country strategic programs
- Management of expert teams at N+2 level
- Technical and contractual escalation management
- Fluent English required (written and spoken) – German is a plus but not required
- International mobility required (around 1 trip per month)
