About the role

Responsibilities
- Leading projects to deliver piping solutions for the construction of new nuclear stations
- Supporting the operation of the existing nuclear generating fleet

Requirements
- Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification)
- Experience in piping and/or pressure vessel design and stress analysis
- Experience in writing accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports
- Comfortable with engaging with existing and prospective clients
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Technical practitioner able to demonstrate good engineering judgement
- Experience with working in a safety critical and heavily regulated environment (desirable)
- Working towards chartership with a relevant professional institute (desirable)
- Experience with design codes such as ASME BPVC Section III, RCC-M, BS EN 13480, BS EN 13445 (desirable)
- Awareness of UK legislation relating to piping (desirable)
