About the role
- Senior Data Engineer developing robust data pipelines and optimizing databases for Atecna clients. Contributing to the growth of Atecna’s Data community with expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and productionize robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT, batch, streaming)
- Orchestrate data workflows using the right tools (Airflow, dbt…) in cloud environments (GCP preferred)
- Model and optimize databases for concrete business use cases
- Contribute to structuring Atecna’s Data community: practices, standards, and skills development
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering in demanding, high-volume contexts (level may vary with technical maturity)
- Strong proficiency in Python and cloud ecosystems, ideally GCP
- Experience with orchestration and data workflow management: Airflow, dbt, Luigi or equivalents
- Comfortable across the whole data pipeline: ingestion, transformation, modeling, and production deployment
- Product-oriented approach — you understand business needs before opening your IDE
- Strong attention to data quality (testing, monitoring, documentation)
- Desire to mentor and help others grow
