Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement efficient, scalable data pipelines on the Azure platform.
- Prepare, transform, and model data for advanced analytics, machine learning, and deep learning.
- Build, maintain, and optimize solutions using Medallion Architecture.
- Work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics, including notebooks, snapshots, triggers, and pipelines.
- Support hypothesis generation and validation through exploratory data analysis.
- Build and interpret analytical models, serving as a technical reference within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Monitor, evaluate, and propose continuous improvements to models, pipelines, and algorithms.
- Actively contribute to technical discussions, sharing knowledge and proposing solutions.
- Stay up to date with trends, best practices, and new technologies in engineering and analytics.
Requirements
- Advanced English for communication in a global context.
- Strong experience with Medallion Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics, focusing on Notebooks, Snapshots, and Pipelines.
- Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, and support team decisions.
- Knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL), including extents and joins.
- Experience with Apache Spark or PySpark.
- Use of Azure DevOps (ADO) for task management, tracking, and reporting.
- Mastery of T-SQL, including CRUD operations, query optimization, indexing, fine-tuning, and profiling.
- Microsoft certifications in data and analytics.
