About the role
- Senior Accountant (Consolidation) supporting financial consolidation and reporting processes for Astrana Health. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and assisting with audit requirements in a hybrid work structure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the consolidation process of multiple entities, ensuring intercompany transactions are appropriately eliminated
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC guidelines
- Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, meeting all financial reporting deadlines.
- Assist with internal and external auditor requests.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to collect, analyze, and report information necessary for internal and external financial reports.
- Prepare schedules and perform analytics required for reporting and management review.
- Maintain and organize financial databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of financial information.
- Uphold compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations.
- Assist management with ad-hoc procedures and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, public experience preferred.
- Understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with Vena or Alteryx preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

- The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $95,000 - $112,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
