About the role
- Dev Ops Engineer responsible for IT infrastructure management, automation, and security in innovative telemedicine software development. Collaborating with a dedicated team in Schwerin for modern application delivery.
Responsibilities
- As an IT Operations & Security Engineer you will be part of a nine-person technology team
- Work closely with our Solution Owner SysDevOps
- Take responsibility for the operation, automation and security of our IT infrastructure
- Support the development teams in deploying and securing modern applications
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployments and infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize release processes
- End-to-end management of CI/CD pipeline automation
- Create and operate monitoring and observability for production IT systems and services
- Implement and monitor security policies and measures
- Conduct vulnerability analyses and penetration tests
- Incident response and ensuring compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, BSI C5).
Requirements
- Completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
- Experience in automating systems and processes (e.g., with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Knowledge in monitoring & observability
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, TypeScript)
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and strong teamwork
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (minimum C1).
