About the role
- Procurement Lead managing procurement activities throughout the NPD lifecycle at Arjo. Leading project management efforts and ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serving as an active core team member in New Product Development (NPD) projects
- Leading the planning and execution of procurement activities throughout the NPD lifecycle—from pre-study to implementation—ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and budget
- Providing procurement status updates at each gate review stage of NPD projects
- Ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all project phases
- Monitoring project and program performance, and delivering regular status reports to Management and the Project Office
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating procurement-related risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Contributing to the development and implementation of project management methodologies, standards, tools, and processes
- Guiding and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve procurement-related project goals
- Ensuring procurement deliverables meet quality standards and specifications
- Managing project and program budgets with a focus on financial control and value creation
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in procurement and project management practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration or related fields
- Good knowledge of Business and Procurement processes in global environment
- 5-10+ years of Procurement experience in a corporate setting
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Lead
- Strong knowledge of project management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluent in English
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus
- Experience from leading projects in international organization
