Responsibilities
- Financial planning and budgeting: preparing, monitoring and adjusting budgets as well as long-term financial plans
- Reporting: preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual reports (e.g., actual vs. target comparisons, variance analyses)
- Forecasting: developing and updating forecasts to support corporate management
- KPI analysis: developing and interpreting relevant KPIs to support management decisions
- Cost and performance accounting: analysing cost structures and implementing cost-optimization measures
- Business partnering: advising and supporting specialist departments on financial and business matters
- Process optimization: further development and digitalization of controlling processes and tools
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a comparable position
- Ideally a degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance, controlling or accounting
- Solid knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with cost accounting and reporting
- Strong numerical affinity and problem-solving skills
- Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel; ideally experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Team player, proactive and highly responsible
- Business-fluent German (written and spoken); English skills are an advantage
