Responsibilities
- Support tasks and projects for the planning, design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems, pump/lift stations, and/or treatment plants
- Support field activities including condition assessments, services during construction and/or construction administration activities for water/wastewater projects
- Perform engineering evaluations, modeling, and analysis
- Develop design and construction documents (i.e., reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates)
- Support construction administration of projects and leading and/or assist permitting efforts
- Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams
- Support the production of design and associated documentation and reports to meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis requirements
- Support task management and/or coordination
- Some travel will be required for project site visits, client meetings, general planning purposes or to provide field services, depending on project staffing needs
Requirements
- 4 years of water or wastewater engineering design and field experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited school
- EIT Certification
- Proficiency in relevant design software and familiarity with AutoCAD
- Technical writing, presentation skills, and ability to support production of engineering reports
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges
