Responsibilities
Support tasks and projects for the planning, design and construction of Water/Wastewater distribution/collection systems, pump/lift stations, and/or treatment plants
Support field activities including condition assessments, services during construction and/or construction administration activities for water/wastewater projects
Perform engineering evaluations, modeling, and analysis
Develop design and construction documents (i.e., reports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimates)
Support construction administration of projects and leading and/or assist permitting efforts
Work collaboratively with multi-discipline teams
Support the production of design and associated documentation and reports to meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis requirements
Support task management and/or coordination
Some travel will be required for project site visits, client meetings, general planning purposes or to provide field services, depending on project staffing needs
Requirements
4 years of water or wastewater engineering design and field experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited school
EIT Certification
Proficiency in relevant design software and familiarity with AutoCAD
Technical writing, presentation skills, and ability to support production of engineering reports
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about technical challenges
