Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and leadership to our team of highly skilled engineers.
Lead tasks/projects simultaneously and apply technical knowledge and expertise to develop the team’s overall capabilities.
Evaluate, plan, design, permit and support management of projects for water/wastewater and conveyance.
Support professional engineering services during construction such as construction observation, review of shop drawings, and permit closeouts.
Oversee development of design calculations, technical report sections, and specifications.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials for client meetings.
Facilitate coordination for timely project completion within budget constraints.
Supervise and support the work of others, mentoring junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff.
Requirements
8 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or a related field of study.
Professional Engineering (PE) License.
10 years of relevant water/wastewater experience (preferred).
Master of Science/Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study (preferred).
Experience in design or consulting engineering or Municipal work environment (preferred).
Project task leadership experience including managing overall project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring (preferred).
Active participation in regional and/or national professional association(s) (preferred).
