About the role

  • People Services Manager leading the People Function for Arcadis in Belgium. Responsible for developing efficient people services and managing HR operations in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop efficient people services to support our People Function for the country or group of countries
  • Manage country People function in line with global ways of working
  • Lead alignment and harmonization of country people services
  • Plan and manage operational delivery of services that execute activities associated with employee lifecycle
  • Lead country people team to a global tiered service delivery including transition of work to shared services centers
  • Adopt new people technology and advocate for local adoption
  • Establish a high-performing People Services team
  • Implement globally defined processes and procedures for people service delivery
  • Ensure clarity around roles, responsibilities, points of escalation & workflows
  • Monitor and communicate country service delivery metrics
  • Engage with country stakeholders for ongoing feedback
  • Ensure HCM system is accurate and up to date
  • Participate in internal and external audits

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (preferably in human resources)
  • Progressive human resource experience and relevant experience in a complex international matrix setting
  • Broad experience and understanding of implementing people activities, particularly in HR operations
  • Demonstrated management skills
  • Ability to coach and guide a team of HR professionals
  • Broad knowledge of all major components of People related functions: employee/labour relations, payroll, management of change, diversity, compensation, benefits and talent development
  • Experience in transitioning work to a shared service center
  • Experience in implementing payroll systems and improvements
  • Experience in implementing HRIS and interaction with connected systems
  • Business Fluency with financial acumen and operations knowledge
  • Strong customer service mindset and experience in a tiered service model accompanied by Shared service
  • Stakeholder management
  • High level communication skills (English proficiency at least C1) strong consulting, coaching and presentation skills.
