About the role

Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for leading financial accounting in accordance with HGB (German GAAP), using your expertise to professionalize structures, digitize processes and develop your team
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Act as the point of contact for tax advisors, banks and auditors
- Consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and tax compliance
- Further develop accounting processes and digital tools
- Work closely with the Head of Finance and adjacent departments
- Optional: support in controlling (cost center accounting, project controlling)
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in a finance-related field
- Completed Bilanzbuchhalter qualification (certified accounting specialist)
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience in accounting, with assured experience in preparing HGB financial statements
- Is team leadership your passion?
- Experience with consolidation, intercompany processes and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Analytical mindset, precise working style and a passion for continuous improvement
- Nice to have: experience with IFRS, project controlling, corporate group structures or experience in the renewable energy sector
