About the role
- Cloud Engineer managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, focusing on infrastructure operations and cloud architecture expansion.
Responsibilities
- Operational management and further development of our Azure landing zone and central infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, security), including interfaces
- Administration of identities and access rights (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM)
- Operation of containers (AKS, Docker) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps)
- Implementation of cloud security and governance standards in close collaboration with our external security partner
- Automation using Terraform and creation of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and cost optimization with Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
- Support for administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune
- Support for compliance requirements (ISO 27001, KRITIS, NIS2) together with external specialists
- Coordination with external service providers: ensuring quality, response times and provision of expertise
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
- Experience in Azure cloud engineering and/or with Microsoft 365 services
- Knowledge in some of the following areas: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams
- Willingness to learn new topics and continuously expand your knowledge
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners
- Very good German and good English skills
