About the role
- Cloud Engineer managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for Alterric's energy transition initiatives. Driving cloud architecture development and operational responsibilities in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Operational management and further development of our Azure Landing Zone and central infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, security), including interfaces.
- Administration of identities and access rights (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM).
- Operation of containers (AKS, Docker) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps).
- Implementation of cloud security and governance standards in close cooperation with our external security partner.
- Automation with Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and cost optimization using Azure Monitor & Log Analytics.
- Support in the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune.
- Support for compliance requirements (ISO 27001, KRITIS, NIS2) together with external specialists.
- Coordination with external service providers: ensuring quality, response times and transfer of expertise.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in Azure cloud engineering and/or with Microsoft 365 services.
- Knowledge in some of the following areas: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams.
- Willingness to work on new topics and continuously expand your knowledge.
- Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners.
- Very good German and good English skills.
