About the role
- RN Supervisor managing clinic operations and ensuring quality care at AltaMed Health Services. Leading nursing teams while collaborating with clinic leadership to meet health service goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day ‘back office’ operations of the clinic
- Implement and assure quality medical management and cost containment health services
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate/improve clinical care services/programs
- Collaborate with Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, and Administrative Leadership team
- Provide leadership to the nursing team and support as a mentor to Staff
- Manage operations and services that add value and integrated with nursing standards of practice
- Responsible for performance and outcome measures
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing patient care in an outpatient/inpatient setting
- Current, valid license as a registered nurse through the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Experience with audits and health care inspections, preferred
- Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system is preferred
- A valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Chinese, preferred
