About the role
- Department Head of Building Contaminants leading the team and managing projects in Berlin. Overseeing customer consultations and project developments with a focus on building pollutants.
Responsibilities
- Lead and further develop the department at the site
- Manage projects in the area of building contaminants (contaminant investigations, remediation planning, specialist construction management)
- Prepare expert reports and statements, and perform plausibility checks of investigation data, reports, expert opinions and plans (including co-signing of expert reports)
- Provide on-site client support and consulting
- Regularly review project and client development, and take responsibility for the department's revenue and results
- Coordinate with technical sales to define sales actions and targets
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering (m/f/d) or equivalent
- Practical experience in the tasks listed above
- Knowledge of relevant standards and technical regulations (e.g., VDI 4300, VDI 6202, DIN/ISO 16000, TRGS 519, 521, 524)
