Responsibilities
- Planning and conducting wound rounds, wound documentation, and performing wound assessments
- Implementing optimal wound prevention measures and minimizing or avoiding pain
- Supporting treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Assisting in the training of our nursing staff
- Providing individualized basic and treatment nursing care to residents
- Documenting the nursing process for each resident
- Ensuring quality of care
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a qualified nurse (e.g., geriatric nurse or registered nurse) and/or health and nursing professional with additional wound manager certification
- Team player with empathy in interactions with residents and colleagues
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Basic IT affinity / comfortable using IT systems
