About the role
- Senior Financial Controller developing and maintaining financial models and reports at AlfaDocs. Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and collaboration with management in a SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the financial model: further development and upkeep of our financial model in a SaaS environment in direct collaboration with the Executive Management
- Financial planning & budgeting: preparation and regular adjustment of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Documentation of financial processes: maintenance and optimization of financial processes, including documentation and standardization
- Debt collection management: monitoring and optimization of the debt collection process
- Monthly reporting: preparation of detailed monthly financial reports for Management and the Board
- Variance analysis: identification and analysis of variances against the financial model and preparation of recommended actions
- Financial model validation: regular review of the feasibility and plausibility of the financial model
- Runway calculation: calculation of the financial runway (liquidity and cash flow forecast)
- Cash flow planning: preparation and updating of cash flow planning
- Business case support: support in the preparation and updating of business cases related to monthly reporting and the financial model
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a Controller, ideally in a SaaS environment or a similar industry
- Solid knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and cash flow planning
- Strong analytical skills and experience in variance analysis
- Experience developing and maintaining financial models
- Confident use of common financial software solutions (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Independent working style, high level of initiative and team spirit
- Experience in debt collection management and preparing monthly reports
