About the role
- Senior Generative AI Engineer responsible for developing AI demonstrators and leading projects at Alexander Thamm GmbH. Engaging in research, training, and supporting marketing efforts in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Take technical responsibility for maintaining and developing demonstrators for our Business Development
- Actively track current trends and developments in Generative AI through continuous research and experimentation with new tools
- Lead or contribute to projects with a focus on technical steering
- Design and deliver internal training to deepen the team’s expertise
- Actively participate in relevant conferences and deliver presentations
- Support the marketing team in customer acquisition by presenting technical solutions persuasively
- Draft architectural diagrams for Generative AI solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
- Fluent communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel as required for consulting work
- Experience developing Generative AI models and applying them in real-world projects
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and experimenting with new tools and technologies
- Excellent coding and software development skills (Python, object-oriented programming)
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Experience in probabilistic modeling, text processing & NLP, transformers, conversational AI, and stable diffusion
