About the role
- Senior Telecom Analyst managing voice networks for Alares Internet. Collaborating with engineering team to enhance services and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Administer and configure TDM and IP voice network environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Configure, operate and troubleshoot Softswitches, SBCs (Session Border Controllers) and Media Gateways.
- Analyze and monitor Detraf, ensuring compliance and accuracy of traffic information.
- Handle regulatory requests and processes related to SCM, STFC and SeAC, supporting the regulatory area as needed.
- Provide technical support for M&A activities related to evaluation of voice platforms, interconnections and associated infrastructure.
- Work with protocols and technologies such as SIP, RTP/RTCP, SIGTRAN (SS7/M3UA) and H.323.
- Participate in Number Portability processes, ensuring correct flow and provisioning.
- Support the rollout of new voice features in the CRM, overseeing testing, homologation and operations.
- Manage licenses and regulatory matters with Anatel and other entities such as ABR.
- Maintain regular interaction with partner carriers, vendors, Anatel and ABR to resolve requests, drive projects and align operational activities.
- Prepare technical interconnection projects, proposing solutions suited to traffic and quality requirements.
- Execute activation and migration of TDM and SIP-I interconnections, acting from planning through operationalization.
- Work with numbering plans, tariffing rules, routing and voice billing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of TDM and IP voice networks.
- Experience with telephony platforms, Softswitch, SBC and Media Gateway.
- Practical knowledge of Detraf and regulatory processes (SCM, STFC, SeAC).
- Proficiency with protocols SIP, RTP/RTCP, H.323, SIGTRAN (SS7/M3UA).
- Experience with Number Portability.
- Experience interacting technically with carriers, Anatel and ABR.
- Knowledge of numbering plans, interconnection and voice billing.
