Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the production department in the introduction of new products, processes and technologies, as well as carrying out improvement activities to prevent deviations through analysis of indicators, preparation of technical reports, and application of knowledge and skills to optimize the use of natural, financial and human resources, with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction and applying the principles of the Ajinomoto Group.
Main activities include:
Support the production, maintenance and engineering departments in achieving and increasing process efficiency through monitoring, analysis, identification and proposal of improvement opportunities;
Support the production department in maintaining processes that ensure product quality in compliance with current legislation and standards established by the company and its customers;
Support the production and quality departments by implementing preventive actions to avoid production-related deviations, applying technical knowledge and seeking assistance from colleagues in other departments, other group units or external specialist consultants, using indicator analysis and quality tools;
Promote activities and projects aimed at optimizing consumption of natural, financial and human resources through methodologies and projects that employ new technologies;
Plan and organize, together with the Research and Development Center, the generation of projects and implementation tests for new processes and products, cost reduction and improvements using available resources and techniques, meeting project objectives;
Prepare technical reports and documentation related to projects, such as Technical Standards, Assessments, SFD (Simple Flow Diagram), Control and Automation Diagrams and Descriptions, Layouts, Technical Drawings, User Requirements Specification (URS), etc.;
Develop, together with the purchasing, quality and research departments, new suppliers of raw materials aiming at supply strategy, cost reduction and technological improvement.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Bioprocess/Biotechnology, Food Engineering, Control and Automation, Production Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Biochemistry.
Previous experience: Minimum of 2 (two) years of relevant experience.

Other requirements: Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, PI Vision, Advanced English.
Additional knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); Management Systems (ISO 9000/14000, OHSAS 18001); Quality tools (PDCA, 5W2H, FMEA, Cause-and-Effect Diagram). Green Belt certification is a plus.
