- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define testing scenarios.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify software defects.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on test automation scripts.
- Enhance and optimize testing processes using industry best practices.
- Guide and mentor junior automation testers in testing methodologies and tools.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Provide reports and metrics on test results and defect trends to stakeholders.
- Participate in requirement review meetings to ensure clarity and testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in automation testing.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
