Responsibilities
As a Commercial Engineer (f/m/d), you are responsible for building financial frameworks that underpin our projects and affect their commercial trajectory
You monitor cost developments and key financials to ensure robust, transparent business cases
You develop pricing strategies with Sales Managers to create value for customers and Vestas
You coordinate with Construction, Transport, and Supply Chain to align contributions and help projects reach their objectives
You stay close to the market and the customer, maintaining accurate and meaningful data in our CRM
You support contract negotiations and closings and manage contract administration through handover to Construction
Requirements
You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field
You have demonstrated commercial acumen, including cost and financial calculations, and enjoy translating numbers into sound business decisions
You have a solid understanding of financial models, can interpret key financials, and communicate insights clearly—especially in Excel and PowerPoint
You manage your tasks with initiative, own your responsibilities, and consistently meet your commitments
You approach work with a client-focused outlook and thrive in international team settings
You show a commitment to continuous learning, stay highly engaged, and are ready to be accountable for your projects and customers
You support your colleagues and value collaboration, knowing that Sales succeeds together
You communicate fluently in German (C1) and can also express yourself effectively in English (B2) in a professional context
