Responsibilities
Acquisition of new clients
Identifying and approaching potential customers in target industries such as Telecommunications, Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Healthcare, Biotech, etc.
Developing and implementing lead-generation strategies
Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with decision-makers (e.g., CTOs, CEOs, project managers) at companies with software development needs
Presenting the nearshore model and its specific benefits to clients
Advising clients on the best solutions for software development and integration
Determining clients’ specific requirements and challenges to develop tailored solutions
Supporting the preparation of project requirements and roadmaps
Preparing and negotiating contracts and proposals
Ensuring legal and financial compliance throughout the sales process
Achieving and exceeding sales targets
Working closely with the project management team to ensure a smooth handover after contract signing
Providing ongoing support and consultation to clients during project delivery
Monitoring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Analyzing market trends, the competitive landscape, and potential new business opportunities
Regular reporting to management on sales activities, client feedback and business developments
Representing the company at industry trade shows, conferences and events
Networking with potential clients and partners to expand business
Requirements
At least 5 years’ experience selling IT or software solutions, preferably in nearshore, offshoring or outsourcing
Experience handling complex software development projects and advising companies on software solutions
Ideally, experience working with clients from the target industries listed above
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus
Strong knowledge of software development and IT services
Solid understanding of business processes and customer needs
Ability to present technical concepts and solutions clearly and persuasively
High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and team orientation
