About the role
- Senior Accountant managing financial accounting operations at Active Nutrition International GmbH in Munich. Responsible for accounts receivable and payable, reporting, and ERP systems management.
Responsibilities
- Independently work in accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, including dunning runs and reconciliation of open items
- Post bank statements and payment advices, prepare VAT returns (AT & CH) and Intrastat reports
- Responsible for correct management and posting of fixed assets
- Support month-end and year-end closings including provisions, foreign currency valuations, SOX documentation and reporting to the USA
- Handle communication with auditors, tax advisors and tax inspectors
Requirements
- You have a degree in business administration or a commercial vocational qualification and further certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified accounting specialist)
- You bring solid professional experience in financial accounting and tax law (UStG, HGB, US GAAP)
- You have a deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor advantageous), ideally with Key User experience in an ERP implementation project
- You work independently, have the drive to take initiative and are solution- and goal-oriented
- You have business-fluent German and good command of English
