About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct inquiries, price and delivery date negotiations.
- Place orders and perform quote comparisons.
- Responsible for supplier selection, order processing and supplier evaluation.
- Conduct annual negotiations with suppliers.
- Continuously optimize through performance monitoring.
- Ensure long-term and fair cooperation.
- Monitor the market for new products and price developments on an ongoing basis.
- Develop proposals for stocking, substitution and sell-off.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of verifiable purchasing experience, preferably in a senior role.
- Completed vocational training or degree in business administration or a comparable field.
- Affinity for technical processes and products.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate across different hierarchy levels.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel for business, with an expected travel rate of about 10%.
