Field Technical Engineer providing medical and technical support for electrophysiology products in Germany. Conducting trainings and collaborating with clients in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
Medical and technical support for the electrophysiology product portfolio with a focus on 3D mapping, catheters, introducer sheaths, etc., for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias
Conducting product trainings in hospitals as well as advising, accompanying and supporting with regard to indication, patient and product selection during procedures on site
Responsible for increasing the use of Abbott products during procedures
Presenting new Abbott products and demonstrating associated application possibilities
Initiating customer trainings and courses to promote optimal use of the EnSite system by customers or at designated training centers in coordination with the training department
Initiating studies together with customers and in coordination with the clinical studies department
Performing troubleshooting on the system, if necessary with support from a technician or specialists from internal support teams
Requirements
Qualification in a scientific, medical or technical profession; a university degree is not necessarily required
General knowledge of medical technology and clinical practice is advantageous; ideally some initial experience in cardiology (not mandatory)
Good command of English; very good command of German
Good IT skills
Strong communication skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently and a high degree of empathy
Stable temperament and the ability to work in a team, as well as unrestricted mobility, including short-notice travel
A valid driving license for Germany
