About the role

  • Lead project execution and drive innovation within procurement function at ABB across global stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation mindset within the team and organization.
  • Look for and evaluate new system opportunities, applications & functionalities.
  • Lead the project execution/ implementation, establishing the project team, overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities.
  • Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
  • Report progress, status and issues.
  • Collaborate with external service providers, implementation partners and support teams to ensure system is running according to expectation.
  • Drive the formal acceptance of the project and acknowledgment by the business/ end users, all in accordance with the agreed scope & timeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum a Bachelor in any relevant field - Engineering, IT/IS, Finance, Economics or Supply/- Value Chain.
  • General project management experience.
  • Specific supply chain management or/and sourcing experience, especially from industry.
  • IS implementation experience, preferably with SAP Ariba solutions or other similar tool/- system.
  • Self-motivated and driven informal leader with ability to get the best out of a diverse team with and without formal line management.
  • Extremely strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are preferred.
