About the role

Responsibilities
- Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with [HGB / IFRS].
- Preparation of tax returns and serving as the competent point of contact for tax authorities and external auditors.
- You will review existing accounting processes and digitalize our workflows (e.g., implementation of new ERP modules).
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior colleagues within the team.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training with further qualification as a certified Bilanzbuchhalter (German certified financial accountant) or a relevant degree with a focus on finance.
- Several years (5+ years) of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a dynamic environment or at an audit firm.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting (accounting) and current tax law.
- Confident use of common ERP systems (especially DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) and very strong Excel skills.
