About the role
- QA Manager overseeing software quality lifecycle at Inchcape, managing QA team and enforcing quality standards for testing and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the entire software quality lifecycle, managing the QA team to develop and execute test strategies.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of test strategies for functional, integration, system and end to end testing across various platforms.
- Define, Implement and enforce quality standards, policies and procedures.
- Work closely with development, product and other stakeholders to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Help identify and mitigate quality related risks and ensure products comply with relevant laws, regulations and company standards.
- Define, track and report on key quality metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Enforce defect management procedures and oversee the root cause analysis and resolution of identified issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing the end-to-end testing life cycles.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) , software testing methodologies and test automation frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is often required
- Familiarity with quality metrics, reporting and a data driven approach to quality assurance.
- Any Professional degree in computer science
- Ability to quickly understand the business processes.
- Testing tools: Zephyr, XUnit, Selenium, Sonar Cloud, Appium, Postman/SoapUI/ Rest-assured
- Test Driven Development methodology
- Agile product management tools: Jira, Confluence
- DevOps tools (desirable): Bitbucket/GitHub, Sonar Cube, Team City, Selenium
- Knowledge of maritime, Finance, Supply chain and logistics (desirable)
