About the role

  • Technical Product Manager defining footprint and network steering for global telecommunications provider. Collaborating with engineering and operations to enhance connectivity service quality and margin.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for footprint expansion and network steering, prioritizing work that improves coverage, service quality, and margin
  • Translate carrier capabilities, roaming constructs, SIM/eSIM dependencies, and platform constraints into clear product requirements for engineering and operations
  • Work with support and operations to identify roaming, activation, and partner-performance issues, then turn root causes into product and process improvements
  • Own the end-to-end process from footprint definition through OTA campaigns and RSP profile changes
  • Lead the creation of the footprint management and steering platform

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in telecom, connectivity, roaming, or other network-led platforms
  • Working knowledge of SIM/eSIM lifecycle concepts, OTA updates, and Remote SIM Provisioning flows
  • Proven experience owning complex products end to end, from discovery and requirements through launch and operational rollout
  • Experience working closely with engineering, operations, and support teams to resolve production issues and improve platform performance
  • Familiarity with APIs and technical tools used to validate requirements and investigate issues, such as Postman, SQL, and documentation tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical, operational, and commercial priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Direct experience with Steering of Roaming platforms, policy engines, or preferred-network selection logic
  • Experience leading footprint expansion or carrier-partner onboarding across multiple markets
  • Familiarity with GSMA standards and industry processes relevant to roaming and eSIM, including SGP.21/22 or related frameworks
  • Hands-on exposure to OTA campaign planning, eUICC profile changes, or device-side RSP testing
  • Experience building or scaling an internal telecom operations or network-management platform
  • Knowledge of VoLTE, 5G roaming, IMS, or network-quality optimization in international connectivity products
  • Experience working with wholesale agreements, partner performance management, or telecom commercial models
  • Experience in high-growth, cross-functional environments where product, engineering, and operations work closely together
  • Exposure to telecom billing, provisioning, or revenue-assurance workflows
  • Master's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline
