About the role
- Financial Management Analyst overseeing financial management and operational processes for CTSI ancillary groups. Providing financial reports and supporting faculty and project leaders with budget development and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage financial oversight for the CTSI ancillary groups
- Identify and make recommendations to the CAO and/or Finance Director regarding opportunities for improvement in operations and processes
- Assist operations personnel, especially project leaders, as a resource to resolve financial issues on projects
- Provide monthly comprehensive financial reports for the ancillary groups
- Oversee financial and administrative management of the Project Baseline Health Study Biorepository
- Serve as liaison between faculty and the RASR PAL/GM1 to coordinate and support pre- and post-award activities
- Manage funds for the Duke Kannapolis Clinical Research Facility
- Participate in reviewing and negotiating financial issues in proposals and contracts
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
- CAP is desirable
- Work requires a minimum of six years’ experience in financial management, cost accounting or a field directly related to specialized area of assignment
- OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
