About the role
- Technical Recruiter sourcing and evaluating candidates for SQA's supplier quality services. Manage interviews, documentation, and candidate transitions to associate roles.
Responsibilities
- Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
- Write and post job descriptions on career websites, job boards, social media
- Utilize internal associate databases and support documentation on associate records
- Source candidates by using databases and social media
- Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
- Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates' skills
- Conduct phone, video, and/or in-person interviews
- Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
- Stay up to date with current recruiting methods and internal processes
- Attend job fairs and careers events
- Manage candidate scheduling and internal documentation throughout the hiring process
Requirements
- Proven work experience in an administrative setting
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
- Desire to learn to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
- Eagerness to learn about the quality-professional positions we seek and apply found knowledge to improve the quality of candidates
- Ability to work independently as the main recruiting resource for your assigned roles
- Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems (a plus but not required)
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
- Previous experience in a recruiting role
