- Actively participate in IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems, services, and certifications.

- Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.

- Study and analyze the performance and capacities of the systems and peripheral equipment/systems and prepare plans for future expansion and upgrades.
- Work with vendors in ensuring component software are up to date and in compliance.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and outages for quick remediation.
- Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
Requirements
- US Citizen with ability to obtain a public trust.
- Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field.
- 8+ years of experience with Information Technology (IT).
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
