About the role
- Supervisor leading Gas Transmission and Midstream Facility Engineering Oversight team at Enbridge. Providing technical leadership and project oversight in facility design and construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of facility oversight engineers supporting Major Projects in GTM, covering various engineering fields and experience levels.
- Provide expertise and technical guidance on the design, specification, and construction of mainline compression facilities and meter stations.
- Ensure engineering oversight activities align with Enbridge's technical standards, regulatory requirements, and project execution frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineering SMEs, Construction, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables, reports, and recommendations from oversight engineers.
- Support the resolution of technical issues during design, procurement, and construction phases.
- Participate in the hiring, onboarding, and career development of oversight engineering staff.
Requirements
- Engineering degree
- A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Professional Technologist (P.Tech.) registered with APEGA is required.
- 7 years minimum of progressive experience.
- Experience in facility engineering, including design and construction support for natural gas compression and metering infrastructure.
- Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering or technical teams.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., CSA Z662, ASME) and Enbridge internal specifications.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across teams.
