About the role

• Software Test Engineer Level 2 in Agile development team for SaaS products. Ensuring quality standards and user requirements are met with minimal defects in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design & execute test cases and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and user requirements.
• Identify, track, and report defects and issues found during testing from not only a testing point of view but also a customer point of view.
• Actively provide feedback during technical/functional reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure that software products are tested thoroughly and meet project goals.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Develop scripts & datasets for automation.
• Actively Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline testing processes and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Actively work to comprehend simple & medium complex requirements and contribute towards preparing test datasets, writing and execution of the test cases.
• Participate in team activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software testing experience.
• Proven ability in a team delivering & maintaining web-based software.
• Experience of automation scripting skills in Playwright, C#, Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools including different types of testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• Willing to teach and be teachable up and down the line.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Azure or Cloud qualifications such as AZ-900 and beyond.
• Cyber qualifications such as CEH.
• Any testing qualifications such as ISTQB or similar.
