Responsibilities
- Design and develop core components of our AI Management System in collaboration with our infrastructure, front-end, and machine learning teams.
- Build robust and scalable backend systems to support the deployment of AI solutions in hospital environments.
- Take ownership of rolling out our AI solutions to client hospitals, ensuring smooth integration and reliable performance.
- Contribute to improving engineering practices, deployment automation, and system reliability.
- Lead the technical deployment of Signal 1’s AI solutions at hospitals across North America.
- Build and maintain deployment automation, monitoring, and configuration tools to streamline rollouts and ensure system reliability.
- Manage service delivery across both Signal 1’s cloud infrastructure and client-hosted environments.
- Develop and enhance features for the AI Management System to improve usability, scalability, and performance.
- Implement complex data solutions, including validation, transformation, and verification of large and diverse healthcare datasets.
- Collaborate with the machine learning team to design and build systems that support ML workflows and follow engineering best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability, security, and reliability for hospital clients.
Requirements
- BS or MS in computer science, engineering or a similar discipline
- Solid backend development skills and programming experience (Python, Java, or similar)
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort working independently in fast-paced environments
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)
- Extensive experience in EMR integration and healthcare systems development (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of healthcare data format and interoperability protocols (preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment (preferred).
