About the role
- Senior Tax Analyst managing direct taxes at LWSA, ensuring compliance and supporting fiscal audits. Evaluating tax impacts and analyzing fiscal changes within regulations.
Responsibilities
- Calculation and determination of corporate income tax (IRPJ) and social contribution on net profit (CSLL) under the actual profit regime, and accounting for deferred tax
- Management of tax bases: LALUR, LACS, temporary differences, carryforward of tax losses, and negative tax bases
- Reconciliation of the Effective Tax Rate, including preparation of supporting explanations
- Management of withholding taxes on services received and taxes on imported services
- Preparation and filing of statutory tax returns and ancillary obligations: ECD, ECF, EFD-Reinf, PerDcomp, DCTFWeb
- Reconciliation of accounting ledger accounts related to direct taxes
- Analysis of tax incentives and benefits applicable to IRPJ and CSLL
- Support for tax inspections and audits (internal and external) relating to direct taxes
- Tax studies and tax planning aimed at optimizing the tax burden
- Evaluate departmental processes and propose improvements
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess business impact
Requirements
- Knowledge of corporate accounting
- Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning
- Organization, discipline and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication, with clarity for reporting and interactions with auditors and tax authorities
- Ability to assess tax impact of mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations
- Proactive attitude and critical thinking to identify tax risks and opportunities
- Teamwork and integration with accounting, finance and legal departments
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Law (postgraduate studies in Taxation are a plus)
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with SAP ERP is desirable
- Familiarity with BI tools is a plus
