About the role
- C++ Engineer designing and evolving Stellar Core at Stellar Development Foundation. Tackling challenges in blockchain systems and ensuring robust, scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build key components of Stellar Core
- Collaborate on new architectures and subsystems
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Own core subsystems of Stellar Core
- Investigate and refactor performance bottlenecks
- Author detailed technical feature and protocol specifications
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing software on a team
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Proficiency in modern C++ or Rust in a production environment
- Solid understanding of software design patterns
- Passion for performance debugging and benchmarking
- Experience with designing and implementing distributed systems (bonus)
- Strong curiosity in blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies (bonus)
