About the role

Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with our CTO and our engineering team to develop systems that power our platform in hospitals.
- Lead backend work, helping us to scale reliably across cloud and hybrid deployments
- Take ownership of key components in our product roadmap and collaborate with our product and design functions to deliver features end-to-end
- Drive the design, enhancement, and optimization of our software architecture to ensure scalability, efficiency, and maintainability
- Champion thorough testing
Requirements
- 5+ years experience building production TypeScript backend services with proven architecture skills
- Deep understanding of service-to-service communication patterns (with GraphQL)
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, ideally with data-heavy or API-first products
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
- Familiarity with medical software or healthcare data standards (e.g. FHIR)
- Already residing in Berlin (or within daily commuting distance) and authorised to work in Germany.
