- Senior Mechanical Design Engineer designing and optimizing industrial machines. Working on innovative solutions in a growing engineering company in Oost-Vlaanderen.
Responsibilities
- Je ontwerpt nieuwe machines en optimaliseert bestaande installaties op basis van projectvereisten
- Van eerste concept tot gedetailleerde 3D-tekeningen – jij vertaalt ideeën naar functionele en betrouwbare ontwerpen
- Je waarborgt naleving van actuele veiligheidsnormen en werkt continu aan technische verbeteringen
- Je voert kostenanalyses uit en berekent de kostprijs van installaties en componenten
- Je onderhoudt technische documentatie, machine-dossiers en manuals
- Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s, leveranciers en andere stakeholders om projecten succesvol op te leveren
- Sporadische onsite ondersteuning bij technische vraagstukken en validatie van ontwerpen in de praktijk
- Je begeleidt en ondersteunt junior ontwerpers binnen het team
Requirements
- Master in (elektro)mechanica of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
- Minstens 3 tot 5 jaar ervaring in mechanisch ontwerp en machinebouw
- Sterk technisch inzicht, creatief en nauwkeurig met oog voor detail
- Ervaring met SolidWorks en AutoCAD (of vergelijkbare 3D CAD-software)
- Basiskennis van elektriciteit en automatisatie
- Communicatief sterk, hands-on en zelfstandig, maar ook een echte teamspeler
- Vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels; Frans is een pluspunt
