About the role
- Global Cost Controller leading costing and process improvement efforts within Insulet's manufacturing network. Responsible for financial planning, inventory valuation, and cost accuracy across locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the standard cost process, including annual updates and cost roll-ups
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy
- Monitor and reconcile inventory valuation across global sites
- Lead the preparation and analysis of warranty accruals and reserves
- Drive consistency of finance and accounting activities across manufacturing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Accounting, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred)
- 10 + years of experience in cost accounting, inventory valuation, or operations finance, preferably in a global manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of FIFO valuation, standard costing, inventory and warranty accounting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred) and advanced Excel skills
