Responsibilities
Design PCB layouts and schematics for our products, ensuring robustness and manufacturability.
Integrate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features for optimal wireless functionality, coordinating with firmware teams on communication protocols and system interfaces.
Drive advanced analog/digital circuit design, focusing on signal integrity and minimal interference.
Define and optimize designs for cost-effective mass production, including component sourcing, BOM management, and manufacturing standards.
Ensure compliance with FCC/IC certifications and conduct EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing.
Design and implement efficient power management systems, including Li-ion/Li-po batteries and low-power circuitry.
Perform simulations and validations using relevant software tools to ensure performance and reliability.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all design and testing procedures.
Requirements
PCB Design Expertise: Advanced skills in complex, multi-layer PCB design using tools like Altium Designer or KiCad.
Analog/Digital Circuit Design: Strong capability in analog and digital circuit architecture, ensuring stability, functionality, and cost efficiency.
Mass Production Experience: Proven track record of PCBA design for high-volume manufacturing, with attention to assembly and cost optimization.
Component Selection & BOM Management: Demonstrated ability in strategic component selection and effective BOM handling in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
EMC/EMI Knowledge: Expertise in identifying, mitigating, and ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
Microcontroller Proficiency: Extensive experience with Espressif and Nordic chips, especially in wireless applications.
Communication Protocols: Deep understanding of I2C, SPI, UART, and related protocols for seamless firmware integration.
