About the role
- Java/Guidewire Developer assisting in implementing Intact's new billing platform in the IT Billing Development team. Enhancing features, collaborating with QA, and working in a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and/or develop features to meet user needs by designing solutions, solving problems, producing work estimates, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting
- Develop Java applications and services in an Agile environment
- Engage in the developer community, contribute to continuous improvement, and promote best practices
- Collaborate with QA and business analysts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
- Guidewire certifications (assets)
- Experience with the SAAS version of Guidewire (assets)
- Experience in Guidewire version migration (assets)
- Experience with Guidewire Billing Center (assets)
- Experience with Spring Boot (assets)
- Experience with REST APIs (assets)
