About the role
- Senior Director of Product leading product strategy and execution for CodeHunter, focusing on cybersecurity solutions. Collaborating with executive leadership to ensure alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities
- This leader will be deeply involved in day-to-day product activities, including **roadmap development, feature definition, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration**.
- Define and Communicate Product Strategy
- Partner with the **CEO, COO, and CTO** to translate company goals into a clear, actionable product strategy and roadmap.
- Communicate this strategy across all teams — ensuring clarity, alignment, and shared ownership of priorities.
- Own and Execute the Product Roadmap
- Personally develop and maintain **product roadmaps, business cases, and feature backlogs**.
- Be a Hands-On Product Leader
- Work side-by-side with **Product,** **Engineering and R&D** teams to guide development priorities, validate technical feasibility, and support sprint execution.
- Represent the Customer and Market
- Become an expert in the **MSSP and enterprise cybersecurity market**, understanding buyer motivations, workflows, and value drivers.
- Market Intelligence
- Continuously monitor **market trends, competitor capabilities, and emerging technologies** to identify opportunity spaces.
Requirements
- **8+ years** of experience in product management, product design, or business analysis within agile environments.
- **4+ years** leading product or cross-functional teams.
- **3+ years** in cybersecurity — ideally within **MSSP, MDR, or enterprise security** contexts.
- Job location: Tysons Corner, VA, with remote work available on Friday
- Proven success in launching products from concept through delivery in a **fast-paced, startup environment**.
- Strong understanding of **security architectures, threat analysis, and SOC operations**.
- Excellent communicator — able to translate between technical depth and business impact.
- Data-driven decision-maker with sound judgment and entrepreneurial drive.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and operating autonomously while maintaining alignment with company leadership.
- Technical degree in computer science or engineering preferred
