About the role

• Senior Manager Design developing creative concepts for digital and print media at Schäfer Shop. Leading a design team and managing interdisciplinary projects with a focus on brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Concept development & implementation: You develop creative concepts, campaigns and projects together with your team through to completion and implement a comprehensive design strategy for both online and print media.
• Team leadership & development: You lead, motivate and foster your interdisciplinary design team, combining creative diversity with structured processes.
• Cross-channel production of graphic marketing materials: You ensure a consistent brand identity across all digital channels and print media and are responsible for producing all graphic marketing materials — including catalogs.
• Project management: You take responsibility for all on- and offline design projects, ensure smooth project planning and execution, and optimize workflows.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: You maintain close cooperation with teams from relevant departments, manage internal relationships and lead productive discussions with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Several years of leadership experience in the design field, ideally in e-commerce or mail-order retail
• Vocational training and/or a degree in media design, graphic design, visual communication or a comparable field
• Confident use of Adobe Creative Cloud as well as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Google Web Designer
• Experience in project management and B2B marketing is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong visual sensibility and creativity
• Good English skills for international communication with our foreign subsidiaries
