- Optimize application logic, database queries, and system performance to handle increasing workloads with speed and efficiency.
- Work closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver backend solutions that support intuitive, AI-enhanced user experiences.
- Provide thoughtful code reviews, share best practices, and help foster a backend culture of quality, pragmatism, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability systems that empower the team to ship with confidence and clarity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or similar) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years in backend development, with a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance applications.
- Strong experience with **Node.js**, **Python**, **TypeScript**, and **SQL**.
- Deep knowledge of **cloud-based architectures**, especially on **AWS**.
- Solid understanding of **Kubernetes**, **Traefik**, containerization, and distributed systems.
- Experience building and mantaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring production systems run reliably at scale.
- Experience optimizing API performance and database queries, reducing latency and ensuring seamless data flow between backend and frontend.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, you’re quick to adapt to changing priorities and balance rapid iteration with high-quality outputs.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
