Responsibilities
- Participate with the team in recording and reconciling accounting transactions for these businesses.
- Completes month end closing activities to ensure reporting deadlines are met
- Prepares routine journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
- Develops and/or documents processes as required
- Supports internal and external audit requests
- Performs special assignments and ad hoc analyses as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
- Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience in public accounting/auditing is a strongly preferred
- CPA Certification or qualification to sit for the CPA exam is preferred
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Demonstrated excellence in analytical and research skills while leveraging technology such as Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx
