Responsibilities
Perform aerodynamic design and analysis in support of new product development
Define bench, rig, and engine tests and perform data reduction
Evaluate in-service hardware issues and provide support for production hardware
Ensure adherence to design requirements and practices
Apply six sigma thought processes and tools
Communicate and document technical results to internal and external customers
Support engine and functional tests to ensure successful engine certification
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering, sciences, technology, or mathematics
Must be a US person
Equivalent of 5 years or more of experience in CFD analysis
Strong CFD experience and application toward aerodynamic design of turbine components
Ability to work with other team members ensuring timely completion of assignments
Ability to juggle many priorities and competing demands easily and effectively
Innovative and inventive thinking
